Christian Publishing Company Releases New Book, Entitled "Living Shackle-Free" by Michelle Lea Bowers

There are far too many people still living in bondage to things of the past, even in the body of Christ. Defeated thinking has become a way of life for too many believers. It is time for the people of God to start living up to their full potential, and get back what the enemy has stolen. This is only possible when you allow God to take every issue of your past, and destroy each yoke. Having been set free from a past of depression and abuse, Michelle offers readers an opportunity to live up to their full potential, while being released from issues of their past.Michelle is also speaking about her book in a variety of venues including, book clubs, ladies retreats, Bible Studies, Workshops and Conferences.

She will be at a booksigning on Saturday Nov. 20, 2004 from 1-3pm at Family Christian Bookstore in Irving, Texas (972-986-1026). For more information please visit www.pressonpublishing.com..

Aerobic Exercise

Aerobic (also called cardiovascular exercise) exercise requires continuous, smooth, rhythmic movements that strengthen your heart and lungs. This type of movement works large muscle groups and causes you to breathe more deeply.

This forces your heart to work harder to pump blood and emits carbon dioxide and other waste products. It also causes your body to burn a higher percentage of calories from fat.

Participating in aerobic exercises can be fun because there are so many choices available. Some examples of aerobic exercises are:

*Walking

*Aerobic dance

*Swimming

*Bicycling (inside-stationary bike)

*Ice, Roller or In-line skating

*Cross-country skiing

*Running or Jogging

*Water aerobics

*Stair-climbing

*Elliptical training

*Rowing

Obesity in America

Obesity in America has been blamed on many different things; increased technology such as video games is one, as well as more fast food restaurants. However I do not believe that these are the only causes of such a large amount of obesity within the USA.The cause that gets mostly overlooked is the portrayal of men and women in society. Not video games or more fast food restaurants, but the way women and men are portrayed by the media, movies and television shows over the past decade. There are a few exceptions such as "The Parkers" or "Rosanne" but for the most part there is not an obese person on television who is in touch with the youth. When you walk outside and see a billboard of a sexy model in lingerie or turn on the television and see another underweight woman or go to the movies yet again to see a woman with large breasts and a small waist has to be a large contributor.Young men and women are forced to look like these models. The ones who can't do it end up getting depressed, which...

Stay Young- Play Bingo!

Exercise, intellectual stimulation, surgery, meditation or detox ? you name it, we love it. Let's face it, we live in a society obsessed with staying young. So, when you mention to someone that bingo may well be a key to youth, the image of pensioners playing in a retirement home may well prompt them to ask a few questions. It's not chess or bridge, but researchers insist that bingo can keep your mind trim and bring more to your youthfulness than just cash prizes and idle chitchat. Bingo players who have been playing bingo for a sustained period of time have been found to have superior reflexes in many cases to non-bingo players.

The speed and mental agility required to scan six bingo cards in time before the next call is certainly better than stagnating in front of the television and has been responsible for keeping the minds of many people of different ages fit and healthy. As we get older, the blood begins to run at a thinner rate to the brain. Using our brains less can result...

Cocaine Addiction and Drug Rehabilitation Treatment

(ContentDesk) July 28, 2004 -- Cocaine, one of the oldest known drugs, has been an abused substance for over 100 years.
However, it has gained greatly in popularity especially within the last two decades.
The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy reports that Americans spend more on cocaine than on all other illegal drugs combined.
Between the years of 1988 to 1995, it was estimated that around $38 billion was spent on cocaine alone.
Other costs attributed to cocaine use is money spent on cocaine treatment and prevention programs, emergency room visits and related healthcare costs, lost job productivity, lost earnings, cocaine-related crime, and social welfare are all estimated to cost billions annually.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), there are about 1.7 million people in the U.S. who regularly use cocaine, and so it is not surprising to see that cocaine is the leading cause of heart attacks and strokes...

Japanese Green Tea offers the best of both worlds when it comes to caffeine -- just enough to provide a stimulating pick-me-up that banishes unwanted drowsiness, but not enough to trigger nervousness or sleepless nights.

Ever since eight-century Buddhist monks discovered that tea helped them remain awake during long meditation sessions, tea has been used to boost lagging energy, refresh the mind, and brighten up the mood.

Caffeine increases your heartbeat, improves your alertness, your reaction time gets faster and your general mood becomes more "upbeat".
